Dogecoin's Lunar Mission Takes Backseat to Remittix's Real-World Payments
The Dogecoin-funded space mission DOGE-1 has garnered attention for its proposed lunar expedition, but another cryptocurrency project is pushing real-world payments. Remittix is designing a system for sending digital assets while recipients receive conventional money in supported bank accounts.
Remittix's approach contrasts with the spectacle surrounding DOGE-1, which has faced repeated scheduling changes and may not have completed its flight yet. Despite this, Dogecoin has seen a strong price rebound, trading near $0.093 after gaining almost 10% in the latest session.
However, Remittix's focus on utility-based transactions could provide a more sustainable source of demand. The project aims to support recurring use by remote workers, merchants, families, and companies settling international obligations through its PayFi rails, which will enable direct crypto-to-bank settlement.
