Dogecoin's Relative Strength Index Falls to Historic Low: What Does it Mean?

Dogecoin's (CRYPTO: DOGE) monthly relative strength index reading has fallen to its lowest level in history, according to crypto analyst Cryptollica. On October 1st, they noted that the reading had dropped below levels seen during major cycle bottoms in 2015, 2020, and 2022.

This historically depressed momentum reading is being interpreted as a 'maximum opportunity' for DOGE by some traders. While it does not guarantee an immediate reversal, it may signal that Dogecoin's prolonged correction is nearing exhaustion.

Crypto analysts are pointing to a technically bullish setup in the long-term chart structure of Dogecoin. Davie Satoshi, a crypto analyst, believes that the token's Elliott Wave structure suggests it is deep in Major Wave 4, with a final Major Wave 5 potentially still ahead.
