DogeOS Testnet Launch Sparks DOGE Rally Hopes, But $0.10 Remains Key Breakout Test
Dogecoin (DOGE) is trading near $0.094, with some analysts predicting a potential rally to $0.12. This would require a 25% increase from the current price. The latest development is the launch of DogeOS, a public testnet that aims to expand DOGE's use cases beyond transfers and meme-driven speculation.
DogeOS boasts a high transaction processing speed of 300 transactions per second, compared to Dogecoin's Layer 1 speed of around 30. The network is designed to support trading, lending, stablecoins, games, and consumer applications, with DOGE used for transaction fees.
However, the chart still has a major obstacle: the psychological level of $0.10. Dogecoin has repeatedly failed to break through this level, making it a crucial breakout test. A decisive move above $0.10 could expose $0.11, followed by $0.118-$0.12.
The development of DogeOS is seen as a potential growth story for DOGE, but it remains a testnet, and the mainnet launch date has not been announced. This distinction matters, as the public testnet creates a potential future demand channel for DOGE, but it does not yet guarantee meaningful new on-chain demand.
