DOJ Seizes Over $560K in Crypto Linked to Hamas Fundraising
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that it has seized over $560,000 in cryptocurrency allegedly intended for Hamas fundraising efforts.
The FBI also took control of domains and servers used by Al Qassam Brigades' online platforms for recruitment and fundraising purposes worldwide.
According to court records, investigators identified a network of rotating cryptocurrency addresses distributed through encrypted group chats and websites to donors. The first seizure in 2025 recovered approximately $201,400 from wallets and exchange accounts earlier identified by authorities.
