The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has seized over $560,000 in cryptocurrency that was allegedly meant for Hamas. The funds were linked to a network that moved more than $1.5 million since October 2024.

Investigators used blockchain records and human sources to trace the funds, which were collected from donors through rotating crypto addresses shared on an encrypted group chat and a website.

The FBI took control of several domains and servers linked to the Al Qassam Brigades' main website, Alqassam.ps. This allowed them to intercept more crypto donations meant for Hamas and gather information about thousands of people who reached out to the platforms.
