Doppler, a token launch protocol built by Whetstone Research, is expanding to Solana (SOL) in a ground-up rebuild for the Solana Virtual Machine. This move allows Doppler to accommodate the SVM's distinct architectural assumptions, programming model, and economic constraints.

The protocol currently powers over 40,000 daily asset creations representing more than $1.5 billion in aggregate value and over $1 billion in cumulative trading volume on Base.

Doppler founder Austin Adams stated that the SVM has 'fundamentally different constraints' compared to other chains, making it an interesting challenge for the team.

The protocol's integration with Zora, Base App, Paragraph, and Bankr has made Doppler the default infrastructure for teams launching on Base. The $9 million seed round raised in Q2 2025 will likely support the development of this new Solana implementation.
