A dormant Bitcoin address that has been inactive for 13 years has suddenly sent a test transaction, sparking curiosity among cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

The address, which has a balance of 1,346 BTC valued at approximately $115 million, received its first Bitcoin in 2013 through the now-defunct exchanges Multibit and BTC-e.

The initial purchase cost was around $178, and the address's value increased to 478 times its original value.
