Dormant Bitcoin Wallet Awakens After 14-Year Slumber

A long-dormant Bitcoin wallet has been reactivated after more than 14 years. According to onchain data, the wallet received 100 BTC in November 2011, months after Satoshi Nakamoto's departure from the scene.

The coins remained untouched until recently, when they were moved in block 967732 and labeled as 'Noah Doe #3113.' This connection ties it to a New York legal fight over thousands of dormant Bitcoin addresses.

Galaxy Research suggests that the wallet's owner might have been an old Bitcoin miner, given the timing and amount of coins. However, this is not definitively confirmed.
