A dormant Ethereum wallet has ended its eight-month slumber with a significant purchase via Tokenlon. The wallet, identified as 0xc712a0c2DC41Abec6eB28B54d4B19c1581B30F02, bought 2055 ETH for $5 million (5.044 million USDT) at an average price of $2447.49 per token.

This purchase marks a re-entry into the market after the wallet exited a similar position nine months ago when prices were around $3016, indicating a clear strategy to buy in at lower levels. The wallet's past behavior is consistent with patterns seen in dormant Ethereum wallets that suddenly come back online.

The current price of Ethereum sits at $2421.03, within the Bollinger Bands, and analysts point out that the overbought RSI(14) at 70.41 combined with the MACD death cross at 102.82 may indicate a probable retracement towards the EMA50 support at $2175.04 before any sustained move higher.
