Draper Sees Bitcoin Hitting $250,000 by 2028 on AI Fuel

Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tim Draper predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach $250,000 by the end of 2028. This is not a new prediction for Draper, as he has been forecasting this price target for nearly five years.

Draper's previous predictions were based on high rates of adoption for Bitcoin, particularly in everyday commerce. He envisioned retailers preferring to be paid in Bitcoin instead of dollars and wealthy investors using it to buy luxury goods.

However, these catalysts have yet to materialize. Draper now cites artificial intelligence (AI) as a potential driver for Bitcoin's growth. AI could accelerate the development of new products within the Bitcoin ecosystem or enable AI agents to transact with each other in Bitcoin.
