Billionaire investor Tim Draper is urging major corporations like Apple and Meta to consider adding Bitcoin to their balance sheets. According to him, it's 'irresponsible' for these tech giants to avoid holding the digital asset.

Draper, founder of Draper Associates, emphasized that relying solely on traditional banking systems can lead to either hyperinflation or interest rates rising to threatening levels. He suggested companies maintain at least four weeks' worth of operating expenses in Bitcoin as a hedge against potential banking crises.

Draper warned boards with no exposure to Bitcoin place themselves at legal and financial risk if the banks holding their cash deposits fail. He reiterated his long-standing Bitcoin price target of $250,000, tying this forecast to the upcoming Bitcoin halving event.
