Draper's Team Grows Despite AI Job Displacement Fears

Tim Draper, a well-known venture capitalist and Bitcoin bull, recently made headlines with his statement that AI will take everyone's jobs. However, he quickly followed up by saying that his team is growing as it adopts AI technology.

Draper argued that workers who use AI will gain an advantage over those who ignore the tools. He claimed that his team can accomplish 10 times more with AI than without it, citing increased productivity.

While some may be concerned about job displacement due to AI, Draper's comments suggest that new roles will emerge as a result of technological change. He pointed to statistics showing that 75% of tech job postings now request AI proficiency, up from 67% in March.

The International Labour Organization's assessment found that one in four workers worldwide held an occupation with some exposure to generative AI by 2025. Researchers concluded that most affected jobs were more likely to change than disappear, given the continued need for human input.
