DSA Joins Blockchain Anti-Finance Crime Efforts
The Digital Sovereignty Alliance (DSA) participated in CoinDesk's Policy & Regulation 2026 conference, where experts discussed how on-chain analytics and public-private collaboration can strengthen efforts to combat illicit finance.
The session, held on September 22 in Washington, D.C., explored the potential of blockchain transparency and advanced analytics in financial crime monitoring. Molly Woodman, Senior Policy Advisor at DSA, joined a panel discussion with David Feder from Fenwick & West LLP, Sarah Ward from Chainalysis, and John Hurston from TRON.
The discussion centered on the importance of coordination among technology providers, financial institutions, policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders in addressing illicit finance. Woodman emphasized the need for forward-looking collaboration and expressed optimism about the potential for progress.
