Dubai Investor Shuns XRP Due to High Market Cap and Limited Growth Potential
Dubai-based investor Royal Kane has expressed skepticism about investing in XRP due to its high market capitalization and limited growth potential. Speaking on X, Kane stated that he would not invest in Ripple at its current price because its large market value leaves less room for growth than smaller cryptocurrencies.
Kane, a veteran trader with experience dating back to 2016, believes that XRP's market cap of about $81 billion is already too high. He prefers smaller cryptocurrencies 'with stronger growth potential,' which he claims have more room to increase in value.
XRP has been trading below its 2025 peak of around $3.66, currently priced at approximately $1.30. This represents a decline of about 64.5% from the peak level and puts XRP's market cap at about $81.9 billion according to CoinMarketCap.
