Duelbits Crypto Casino Hacked for $7M as Hackers Swap Stolen Assets to Ether

Crypto casino Duelbits has fallen victim to a massive hack, resulting in the theft of approximately $7 million from its wallets. The attack was discovered by blockchain security research firm Scam Sniffer, which flagged unusual transfers out of Duelbits' hot wallets on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin.

The attacker made off with 836 ETH, about 593,000 USDT, 97,000 USDC, 31,500 DAI, and 12.4 billion SHIB, before converting most of the stolen assets into Ether. The affected wallets were all hot wallets, which are online accounts that keep enough crypto to handle customer deposits and withdrawals.

Duelbits co-founder Joe confirmed the hack in a public post, stating that the platform would remain offline until the investigation is finished and the hot wallets have been refilled. He assured users that their funds are safe, but this claim has not been independently verified.
