Duelbits Reopens After $7M Hack, Still Mum on Breach Cause

Crypto casino Duelbits has reopened for business after a recent hack that its co-founder estimated at around $7 million.

The platform relaunched with approximately $8 million spread across hot and cold wallets, ready for payouts. Despite the breach, Duelbits claims user funds are safe, but it remains unclear how attackers accessed its wallets.

A security incident was first reported on September 24 when suspicious transactions linked to Duelbits were flagged by researchers. The attack affected multiple blockchains and resulted in a loss of around $7 million in cryptocurrency. Most of the stolen assets were eventually consolidated into a single Ethereum address.
