Dutch Blockchain Week 2026 Shifts Focus to Institutional Adoption
The Dutch Blockchain Week 2026 is shifting gears in its approach to blockchain conferences. Instead of relying on hype and buzzwords, this year's event aims for a more focused discussion on shaping Europe's digital asset market.
A key aspect of the event's direction is evident in its lineup of speakers. Charlie Lee, founder of Litecoin and Director of the Litecoin Foundation, will participate in an exclusive one-on-one session during the summit.
Other notable speakers include Brian Gahan from Kraken, Stephanie Laurent from Bitwise, Amor Sexton from Blockdaemon, Maike Hornung from Visa, Marieke Flament as advisor to Qivalis, and Raoul Schipper from Chainlink. These names reflect the industry's increasing emphasis on regulated infrastructure, payments, compliance, and institutional adoption.
The event takes place from June 22-28, with the Dutch Blockchain Week Summit hosted at Amsterdam's Johan Cruijff ArenA on June 24 & 25. The summit will be accompanied by over 40 side events across the city, organized by both Dutch and international partners.
