DWF Labs has expanded its global regulatory footprint by obtaining approval as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) from the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC).

The company, which was established in 2022 and is an investor and market maker focused on digital assets, received this approval under the BVI's Virtual Assets Service Providers Act 2022.

This authorization enables DWF Labs to provide exchange services for virtual assets and participate in issuer offers and sales of such assets. It also allows the company to deliver its integrated OTC trading and market making capabilities to institutional clients, including spot trading across thousands of digital assets and stablecoins.

Heng Lee, Managing Director and Partner at DWF Labs, stated that this approval is a key step in responsibly expanding the company's regulated services to international clients. He emphasized that as the digital asset market matures and adoption increases, this addition to their regulatory framework will enable them to deliver a broader range of solutions.
