The European Blockchain Convention (EBC) is set to take place on September 16-17, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain. The event promises to bring together over 6,000 participants and 300 speakers from the traditional finance (TradFi) sector and the cryptocurrency world.

This year's EBC focuses on the institutional shift towards digital assets, with major banks such as BlackRock, Swift, State Street, Citi, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank represented. The speaker list includes Nikhil Sharma from BlackRock, Tom Zschach from Swift, Kim Hochfeld from State Street, and Stani Kulechov, founder of Aave.

The event's format is designed to facilitate networking, with an exhibition area, a networking app, closed roundtables, and 'LP breakfasts' reserved for allocators, managers, and family offices. The EBC also features a Startup Battle that highlights market infrastructure startups.

Prices for the General Pass range from €500 (Early Bird) to €1,800 (Late Bird), while the VIP Pass costs €2,499. The community code Cointribune_15 offers a 15% discount on the current rate.
