Edelman Sees $1 Million Bitcoin Target if Global Assets Allocate Just 2%
Ric Edelman, founder of Edelman Financial Engines, believes that Bitcoin's price could reach $1 million if global investors allocate just 2% of their assets to it. He made this statement during a recent panel discussion on Bitcoin Treasuries. Edelman emphasized that his investment horizon extends from 2030 to 2035 and is not focused solely on quarterly performance.
In his view, a 1% global allocation could push the price of Bitcoin up to $500,000 by 2030, which aligns with Strive CEO Matt Cole's prediction. Edelman attributed this potential growth to the combined value of global assets, including stocks, bonds, real estate, gold, and oil.
The financial advisor also highlighted the importance of effective messaging in promoting Bitcoin adoption among retail and institutional investors. He noted that advisors play a crucial role in encouraging clients to invest in Bitcoin by emphasizing its potential portfolio diversification benefits rather than relying solely on price projections.
