Eden Labs Secures $1.5 Million to Build AI Personal Assistant
Eden Labs has secured $1.5 million in funding to develop a personal AI agent designed to simplify daily tasks. The funding round was spearheaded by Gaea Ventures, with additional support from Becker Ventures, family offices, and angel investors. The company’s mission is to create an intuitive, powerful, and accessible AI assistant that can navigate apps and the web to handle tasks like booking flights, reserving restaurants, and paying bills. Over 13,000 people have already signed up for early access, indicating strong interest in the product.
Eden Labs argues that current AI usage barely scratches the surface of what the technology can do. The company believes that AI agents could handle a significant portion of global transactions, which currently stands at roughly $107.5 trillion annually. Eden estimates that AI agents process only 0.0001% of this volume today, but expects that number to grow a hundredfold by 2028 and a thousandfold by 2030. The company’s vision is to remove friction from technology, enabling users to focus on what truly matters.
The AI agent is designed to be more than just a tool for retrieving information, it’s built to complete transactions securely and efficiently. Eden aims to handle routine tasks autonomously, acting as a personal companion that grows more intelligent with the user. The service is free for users, with Eden earning revenue through small transaction fees on card purchases and crypto-to-fiat conversions.
The newly raised funds will be used to expand the team, establish marketing initiatives, and form partnerships with strategic payment providers. Eden Labs was founded by a team with extensive startup experience and backgrounds from top institutions like Stanford University and UC Berkeley, as well as companies like Google and Goldman Sachs. The company is set to launch soon, with interested users able to sign up for updates at meeteden.ai.
