A massive water leak at an El Reno Bitcoin mining site has led to a 30-day deadline for the company to determine whether it will shut down or address safety issues.

The incident, which occurred last month, resulted in over 3 million gallons of water being lost from the city's system. Many residents were left without water, and schools and other facilities were forced to close.

El Reno resident Sarah Pedro expressed frustration at the impact on her community, saying 'You know, a lot of people went without water. So many organizations and companies stepped up and donated water to all the residents.'

The company has 30 days to figure out its next steps, including getting necessary permits in order to continue operations.
