Elliptic Unveils AI-Powered Pulse Tool for Crypto Wallet Screening

Elliptic has launched Pulse, an AI-powered tool that helps law enforcement officers screen cryptocurrency wallets in seconds. This new tool is designed to tackle the bottleneck problem in most crypto investigations, where a case often sits until it reaches someone with specialist training.

Pulse works by cross-referencing a wallet address or transaction hash against Elliptic's dataset, which covers more than 65 blockchains, over 250 bridges, and over 1 billion attributed addresses. The output is a plain-language summary with risk indicators and a recommendation on whether to escalate the case.

Elliptic has been working to bridge the gap between law enforcement agencies and cryptocurrency expertise through tools like Pulse and training programs. For instance, they worked with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to conduct joint training programs for agencies across the Asia-Pacific region. They also collaborated with the Royal Thai Police in mid-2026 and identified $520 million in suspicious flows across 32 blockchain networks.
