Elliptic Unveils Pulse, AI Tool for Instant Crypto Tracing

London-based blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has launched Pulse, an AI tool that enables police officers to analyze cryptocurrency wallets in seconds without requiring technical knowledge of blockchain technology.

The tool works by allowing users to enter a wallet address or transaction hash, after which it provides a financial summary in plain language within seconds.

If the case requires deeper investigation, a single click sends the full analysis, including the system's reasoning and field notes tagged with the case number, to Elliptic's forensic platforms or the agency's internal system.

Jackson Hull, chief technology officer at Elliptic, explained that the motivation behind Pulse was to bring cryptocurrencies into every law enforcement agency, not just specialized units. The firm states that its platform analyzes more than 99% of crypto trading volume and covers over 65 blockchains.
