EMCD, a global crypto-fintech platform and one of the world's largest Bitcoin mining pools, has announced the launch of its Miner Support Program. The program aims to provide eligible miners with access to up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.

The move comes amid a challenging backdrop for miners, with Bitcoin's hashprice having declined by 50% from its October 2025 peak, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. The industry is experiencing its steepest profitability squeeze, with an estimated 252 EH/s taken offline as operators running older-generation hardware found margins no longer viable.

Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO of EMCD, stated that 'operators who survive aren't the ones who wait out the downturns. They're the ones who use them.' The Miner Support Program is designed to help miners navigate this challenging period.
