EMCD Launches Miner Support Program Amidst Industry's Steepest Profitability Squeeze
EMCD has launched its Miner Support Program to aid cryptocurrency miners during the industry's steepest profitability squeeze. The program offers up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits to eligible miners.
The initiative comes as Bitcoin's hashprice, a key measure of mining revenue per unit of compute, has dropped 50% from its October 2025 peak, reaching approximately $28/PH/day. This decline has led to an estimated 252 EH/s being taken offline, with operators running older hardware finding margins no longer viable.
EMCD's program includes restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to the company's liquidity and yield products. Miners can apply for secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR to cover operational costs without selling assets into a down market. Additionally, those looking to protect margins on every block can apply for zero pool commission for 60 days.
