Emirates Flights Now Accept Cryptocurrency Payments

Share

Emirates has announced that it now allows customers to pay for flights using cryptocurrency. The airline has partnered with Crypto.com Pay, which enables customers in the UAE to make bookings and payments in UAE Dirham.

The integration of Crypto.com Pay into Emirates' digital payment system follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two companies in July 2025.

Customers who have an account with Crypto.com can select Crypto.com Pay as their payment option while booking flights on Emirates' website or app. The transactions are processed securely and comply with UAE regulatory standards.

The launch of Crypto.com Pay supports Dubai's cashless strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to make 90% of financial transactions digital by the end of 2026.
