Emirates Integrates Crypto.com Pay for Flight Bookings
Emirates airline has integrated Crypto.com Pay into its website and mobile app, allowing customers to use digital payments for flight bookings. The partnership between Emirates and Crypto.com was first announced in July 2025, with a Memorandum of Understanding signed to explore integrating the payment feature.
The launch marks a significant milestone for both companies, with Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, stating that 'bringing this initiative to life delivers on our commitment to expanding customer choice in how they pay for travel'. Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, called the deal a milestone for the company's Pay feature.
The integration is powered by Crypto.com's Dubai entity, which received a Stored Value Facilities licence from the Central Bank of the UAE. This allows customers to use their Crypto.com wallet to complete payments for flights priced in Emirati Dirham (AED). The launch supports the Dubai Cashless Strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda, aiming to make 90% of all financial transactions digital by the end of 2026.
