Emirates Opens Up to Cryptocurrency Payments for UAE Flight Bookings

Emirates has introduced crypto payments for flight bookings in the UAE. The option is available through emirates.com and the Emirates App, allowing eligible UAE residents to pay with cryptocurrencies.

The service uses Crypto.com Pay, which is part of a partnership between Emirates and Crypto.com announced earlier this year. To make a payment, customers need an active Crypto.com account and must book flights priced in AED.

Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said the move reflects how younger, digitally fluent travelers prefer to interact and make payments.
