ESMA Expands MiCA Register with 15 New Licensed CASPs
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has expanded its register of authorized Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, adding 15 new licensed firms.
This brings the total number of registered CASPs to 309, reflecting the steady pace at which cryptocurrency businesses are securing regulatory approval across Europe.
The update includes BNY Mellon's Belgian subsidiary and cryptocurrency payment company BitPay, both major players in the digital asset industry.
