ETF Inflows and Remittix Draw Attention in Crypto Market Recovery
Bitcoin ETFs saw a significant influx of funds on September 18, drawing in approximately $433 million. This influx was led by Fidelity and BlackRock, with about $311 million going towards Fidelity's fund and $108 million towards BlackRock's.
This injection of capital helped to reverse the downward trend seen earlier in the week for funds and coincided with Bitcoin's rise above $80,000. The recovery suggests that regulated buyers are returning to the market after a recent sell-off driven by interest rate fluctuations.
While one strong day does not guarantee a lasting trend, renewed ETF demand can provide healthier support for the market than leveraged buying alone. This could encourage capital to flow into altcoins and presales, potentially benefiting smaller projects with more room to grow.
