ETH/BTC Trend Indicator: Which Major Leads?

Instruments

The Trend Probability Indicator (TPI) for ETH/BTC is a trend indicator that answers one question: which of the two majors, ether or bitcoin, is leading right now?

It does this by running twelve separate trend indicators at once and taking a vote. Each of the twelve looks at the chart in its own way and says either up or down.

The score is the average of those votes, with 12 for ether giving +1.00 and 12 for bitcoin giving -1.00. A six against six split gives 0.00.

This approach is called a Trend Probability Indicator because no single indicator is reliable on its own. The TPI measures how much of the group agrees, which is what holds up.
