ETH Eyes $10K as Institutional Adoption Fuels 'World Computer' Ambitions
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) is setting up for a potential run toward $6,000 to $10,000 if it can clear its long-standing $5,000 resistance. Analyst John Gillen from Milk Road believes institutional adoption and the blockchain's evolution into a 'world computer' will strengthen the bull case.
Gillen argued that acceptance above $2,500 would put $3,000 in focus, while a sustained move above $5,000 could attract speculative capital into the broader altcoin market. He noted that Ethereum's development over the past five years is beginning to catch up with investors' expectations.
The 'world computer' vision, pushed by co-founder Vitalik Buterin, aims to expand Ethereum beyond basic blockchain transactions. Gillen believes this vision is strengthening ETH's long-term prospects and could ultimately determine whether it reaches $6,000 or $12,000 in the next two years.
