ETH Price Reclaim of $2,500 Tightens Supply, Raises Demand Concerns
Ethereum's ($ETH) price has reclaimed $2,500, and this milestone coincides with a significant shift in how the asset is being held. Since May 2025, exchange balances have decreased by approximately 28%, from 14.8 million ETH to 25.7 million ETH.
This reduction in liquidity is crucial because it may not be enough to absorb some of the current supply as Ethereum approaches its next price level.
As reported by CryptoQuant, during the last rebound period, September's outflow data indicate that these migrations have been occurring. As a result of this migration, the number of liquid tokens available to immediately sell from exchanges has been reduced.
