ETH Price Stuck at $2,500: Will Ethereum Break Through or Slip Back?
Ethereum's price has been stuck at $2,500 resistance level for three straight sessions, and investors are getting increasingly enthusiastic. The Crypto Fear and Greed Index hit a 74 reading, its highest since October 5, 2025, but this time the setup looks shakier due to a recent US Treasury decision that triggered a short squeeze.
Despite the elevated volume of $18.6 billion in 24-hour turnover, which is about 6% of ETH's market cap, Ethereum is struggling to break above the key level. Institutional holders are not panicking but aren't piling in yet either.
To clear the resistance, a clean close above $2,500 is needed, opening room towards $2,530-$2,540, extending the week's 28-30% run. However, a rejection at this level sends price back toward $2,440 support.
