ETH Price Targets $3,500 Despite Analyst Forecasts Ranging from $2,183 to $6,000
The Ethereum price has been on a tear lately, up 32% over the last 30 days. But despite this momentum, traders and analysts are skeptical about whether it can reach its target of $3,500 by the end of the year.
A recent prediction from Robinhood's markets gives Ethereum a 31% chance of reaching $3,500 before January 1, 2027. However, analyst forecasts range widely, with Tom Lee predicting $6,000 and Changelly's model putting it at $2,183.
To reach $3,500, Ethereum needs to move about 41% from its current price of $2,480. Before that, it needs to reclaim $3,124, roughly 25% above the current price. The network's Glamsterdam upgrade is also a key factor in determining Ethereum's next move.
The upgrade has been pushed back several times and is now scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. If it stays on track, institutional demand could provide another source of support, with BitMine holding 5.9 million ETH as of September 2026.
