ETH Surges Past Bitcoin Growth as Altcoins Show Signs of Life
The Ethereum price has been steadily increasing over the past few days, surpassing Bitcoin's growth. According to CoinMarketCap analytics, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading at $85,900, up by 13% in the last 7 days and almost 11% in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $2,700, also up by 14% in the last 7 days and over 11% in the last 30 days.
The ETH/BTC chart has recorded its highest weekly close in 8 months, indicating a massive bullish trend for altcoins. Experts believe that Ethereum will surge significantly over the coming months, potentially even reaching new all-time highs. This signal suggests that more capital could flow into the altcoin market if this uptrend continues.
The price of ETH has tapped the $2,800 resistance zone and is now at the 100W SMA. A weekly close above the 100W SMA could push ETH towards $3,300-$3,400, while a rejection might lead to a retest of the $2,550 zone.
