Ethena Partners with EtherFi for New Stablecoin Launch
Ethena is gaining attention in the cryptocurrency space after EtherFi announced plans to launch its own stablecoin using Ethena’s Whitelabel infrastructure. This partnership allows EtherFi to operate a branded stablecoin while Ethena handles the reserves, minting, redemption, and compliance. The move strengthens Ethena’s position in the stablecoin infrastructure market.
EtherFi, which already has over $300 million in stablecoin deposits and a successful cash card product with nearly $1 billion in spending, aims to integrate the new stablecoin into its broader financial ecosystem. The cash card, introduced in 2024, has seen over 100,000 active users, providing a solid foundation for the new stablecoin offering.
Meanwhile, traders are closely watching the ENA token as it consolidates near a key technical level. Crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal notes a tightening one-hour triangle pattern, with ENA trading around $0.2402. Resistance is at $0.260 to $0.270, while support holds at $0.230. A breakout above resistance could target $0.360, while a drop below support might aim for $0.140.
The launch of EtherFi’s stablecoin will serve as a critical test case for Ethena’s Whitelabel strategy. Market watchers will monitor adoption, deposits, transactions, and integration with other EtherFi financial instruments. For ENA, the critical price range remains $0.230-$0.270, with a breakout potentially improving the bullish outlook.
