Ethena Unveils Massive ENA Unlock Event on October 5

The Ethena Foundation will release all remaining locked ENA tokens on October 5, 2026, in a single step. This change ends the monthly release schedule that has been in place since launch, roughly 17 months ahead of plan.

The total number of unlocked tokens is estimated to be around 1.41 billion ENA, which represents about 14 percent of the circulating supply. However, this figure is not officially confirmed by the project and should be treated with caution.

Unlike the previous monthly releases, the entire unlock event will take place on a single date, which may have significant implications for market dynamics. The distinction between investor tokens and team tokens remains in effect, with only the former being released on October 5.
