Ether ETF Outflows Continue Amid Price Increase
Despite outflows from Ether ETFs for the third consecutive day, the price of Ether saw a 2% increase to approximately $2,470 on September 17. According to SoSoValue data, nearly $39 million was withdrawn from spot Ether funds in the U.S., marking the end of a three-day streak of heavy outflows. This phenomenon stands in contrast to the performance of Bitcoin ETFs, which saw $159 million in net inflows during the same period. The sole Zcash fund in the U.S. also experienced its strongest daily inflow in the last month, with approximately $47 million being added.
The broader picture suggests that Ether ETFs have maintained over $1.5 billion in net inflows in the past 30 days, while Bitcoin ETFs have seen around $2.5 billion in outflows. This divergence was observed across various assets, as XRP funds posted approximately $5 million in net outflows, but Zcash rose by about 10% to $1,488 and Solana gained 5%. The price of Bitcoin increased by more than 1%, reaching around $77,216.
