Ether.fi Surpasses $100M in Monthly Transactions Amid Token Price Slump
Ether.fi's consumer business has seen significant growth in recent months, with its monthly transaction volume surpassing $100 million for the first time. This marks an impressive 85% increase from January's $54.3 million and a 2% relative growth compared to the broader market.
The company's share of tracked card spending remained stable at around 10%, while its customer base expanded, with monthly active addresses reaching 40,040, up 83% from 21,898 in January.
Ether.fi's revenue streams come from various sources, including cash spending through card transaction fees, which generated $13.8 million in pre-cost revenue for every $1 billion in annual transaction volume, according to DefiLlama estimates.
The company also earns staking and vault fees, trading commissions, and a share of lending market fees, with the July 14 Aave proposal revealing that Ether.fi receives 80% of protocol fees, while Aave takes 20%.
