Ether.fi's weETH Hits $4 Billion on Aave V3
Ether.fi's wrapped liquid restaking token, weETH, has reached $4 billion in deposits on Aave V3, a significant milestone for its role in decentralized lending.
This development was reported by Cointelegraph and confirmed by current market data, highlighting the substantial capital being supplied to the weETH market on Aave.
WeETH is Ether.fi's non-rebasing wrapped version of eETH, designed for use across DeFi applications. It allows users to supply digital assets and borrow against eligible collateral on Aave V3.
The milestone comes as liquid staking and restaking assets have become increasingly important in DeFi lending markets. In August, Ether.fi undertook a protocol-hardening process focused on reducing counterparty exposure and strengthening controls for institutional usage of weETH.
