Ether's price took a significant hit on September 25, falling 1.44% in just one hour to 2,696 USDT at 8:17 a.m. ET (12:17 UTC), according to public exchange prices collected by TokenPost.
The calculation used Binance’s spot ETH/USDT market, where Ether declined from 2,736 USDT one hour earlier.
Notably, the decline in price coincided with long liquidations totaling $5.49 million across Binance, Bybit, and OKX during the same hour, compared to just $60,000 in short liquidations.
Ether's market capitalization remained robust at around $333.8045 billion, solidifying its position as the second-largest crypto asset by market value.
