Ether Surges Past $2,700 as Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Move in Sync

Ether cleared $2,700 after posting its largest weekly gain since January. Over the past seven days, the token jumped 10.4% and reclaimed levels last seen in January.

The price surge was mirrored by Bitcoin's climb to above $86,000, with both tokens sharing almost identical weekly percentage gains.

A significant inflow of funds into spot ether ETFs also contributed to the price increase, totaling $269.98 million on a single day, its largest daily haul since October 2025.
