Ethereum and Bitcoin ETFs Post Significant Outflows Amid Market Volatility
Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US ended their respective inflow streaks, with $70.62 million and $240.08 million in net outflows recorded on Friday.
This comes after a five-day inflow period for Ethereum ETFs, which saw a total of $211.25 million in net inflows from July 17 to Thursday. Despite the reversal, these funds still posted $103.9 million in net inflows for the week ended Friday.
Ethereum ETFs have now extended their weekly inflow streak to three consecutive weeks, attracting a total of $337.74 million in net inflows so far in July. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs also ended their seven-day inflow streak on Thursday and recorded another $240.08 million in net outflows on Friday.
Bitcoin ETFs extended their weekly inflow streak to three consecutive weeks as well, adding a total of $103.90 million during the week ended Friday and $233.96 million so far in July. This follows a record June, when $4.5 billion flowed out of these funds.
