Ethereum and Tron Dominate $349 Billion Tokenized Asset Market
The tokenized asset market has now surpassed $349.2 billion across 50 monitored blockchains. However, this growth is heavily concentrated in two networks: Ethereum and Tron, which together control 80.2% of the market. Ethereum leads with a commanding $185.8 billion, or 53.2% of the total, while Tron holds $94.2 billion, accounting for 27%. Other blockchains are left to compete over the remaining 19.8% of the market.
Beyond the headline numbers, there are signs of broader adoption. The number of tokenized asset holders has grown to 315.5 million, rising 3.3% over 30 days and 11.2% over 90 days. Decentralized finance (DeFi) activity also shows strength, with $28.7 billion locked in DeFi protocols, representing 8.2% of the total tokenized assets. Total Value Locked (TVL) in DeFi has increased 7.8% over 30 days and 26.7% over 90 days. However, 24-hour decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume has declined, falling 58.2% over 30 days and 28.4% over 90 days.
Smaller blockchains are quietly attracting new capital. Arc, Tempo, and HyperEVM have each added over $500 million in the past 30 days, highlighting areas of growth outside Ethereum's dominance. While these gains are notable, they do not yet challenge Ethereum's leading position in the tokenized asset market.
