Ethereum and XRP Social Sentiment Plunges to Record Lows
Ethereum and XRP's social sentiment has taken a nosedive at the start of October, with Ethereum's bullish comments per bearish comment ratio plummeting to 0.89, its lowest since June 7.
XRP's ratio is even lower at 0.67, its worst mark since August 17. The data from Santiment Intelligence reveals a stark contrast between the two altcoins' fundamentals and their weak price movements.
The community has been frustrated with XRP's inability to break out of its sideways trading range despite recent institutional adoption successes and regular inflows into spot ETFs.
Ethereum is also facing stagnation, with sellers keeping the price range-bound between $2,600 and $2,700. Macro headwinds and regulatory backlash are also contributing to the bearish sentiment.
