Ethereum-Based Malware Targets WordPress Sites

A malicious software, known as SC, has been identified as a persistent threat to WordPress sites that use the Ethereum infrastructure.

According to Sucuri, the malware has established itself in at least eight different locations on affected sites, allowing attackers to gain access through RPC gateways connected to Ethereum ($2,704.26 · Live).

The malicious software is also capable of inserting JavaScript code into e-commerce sites' payment steps, potentially leading to data collection risks.
