VanEck Expert Reaffirms Bitcoin Price Prediction for Next Year
Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Asset Research at VanEck, has reaffirmed his bullish stance on Bitcoin's future price performance. Sigel predicts that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 again next year and potentially rise to $500,000 by 2029 if a similar market cycle occurs.
According to Sigel, past price cycles of Bitcoin are a good indicator of its future performance. He points out that the cryptocurrency has experienced significant increases following block reward halvings, which have led to reductions in supply.
However, Sigel notes that Bitcoin's future performance is not solely determined by past cycles and that other factors such as global interest rate policies, institutional investor interest, regulatory developments, capital movements in the ETF market, and overall risk appetite can also influence its price.
