Ethereum Breakout Above $2,700 Sets Stage for $3,000 Push
Ethereum's price has been on an upward trend, trading at $2,650 and up by more than 3% on the day. This marks six consecutive green sessions, which is notable since ETH hasn't had this many up-days since before the summer stall.
The rally has been fueled by cooling macro pressure, a broad risk-on tilt across equities, and short liquidations that accelerated the move once $2,600 gave way.
Renewed spot ETF inflows followed three straight sessions of withdrawals, adding fresh institutional bid underneath the bounce. Layer 2 activity on Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism has also picked up, with TVL climbing alongside expanding DeFi and RWA tokenization flows.
The ETH/BTC pair has staged a visible rebound off its bottom, which matters as it pushes rotation capital into ETH.
